Pinarello launch into the fat rubber gravel game with the new Grevil+, a completely newly designed frame that takes many performance ques including 'aero optimisation' and the 'fork-flap' (covering the disc calliper to improve airflow) from the Dogma, but also durability and absorption from CX and MTB's. It's designed for rolling over any terrain, at speed or as Pinarello put it - "full gas... everywhere". You can build one up with either 700c wheels and 30-42mm tires or a more rugged 650b up to 2.1″ tire build. In classic Pinarello style it's a 'quirky' looking design with a combination of both smooth Italian lines mixed with the robustness of more angular sections.
The new Grevil will be available in two different frame-set options. The standard Grevil uses a mid-to-high modulus T700 carbon frame construction and will be available as a complete bike only. The Grevil+ gets the same design in a hi-mod T1100 ‘Dream’ carbon construction featuring something called ‘Nanoalloy Technology’ and is available in 6 colour options.
