Bristol Forever Pedalling have linked up with Spoke and Stringer to put on Bristol's first cycling Festival next weekend 18th and 19th of August. "Celebrating why we ride with stories, adventures, music, people, food and bikes" bringing bristols cycling community together at the harbourside destination of Brunel Quay.
There's a selection of individual events which tickets are required for but it's a free to attend event and open to everyone.
Highlights from the weekend include film nights premering a variety of films based around cycling. There are active events like yoga for cyclists and group rides by the DAS RAD KLUB. Plus a variety of talks by authors such Jack Thurston (Lost Lanes books) and a book preview with Paul Jones.
There will also be an expo featuring brands from the industry, displaying a variety of products. Food available at Spoke and Stringer cafe / restaurant while there will also be a charity raffle raising funds for local trail maintenance by Pedal Progression.
