In a new collaboration with Seabass Cycles we'll be bringing you a series bike portrait's from their amazing collection of bikes. #seabasscollection on Instagram
First off is Alec Brigg's Condor Lavoro, designed and hand-painted by designer Ben Spurrier. The bike was a prize for winning the fixed gear race at the Rapha London Nocturne last year and is complete with a set of Blaze lights, a London based start-up company. Its an aluminium frameset built up with Fizik components (saddle, handbars, stem and seatpost) with a Shimano Dura-Ace crankset, gold KMC chain and full carbon Fast Forward tubular wheels.
The details and handmade, personalised details make it a special and truly unique bike. The illustrations that cover the front end and fade seamlessly to black capture the architectural landscape of the city with some major landmarks represented. Condor Cycles is one of London's oldest bike shops and it represents their commitment to originality and history of building frames by hand, which they continue to do, even as the company has grown.
The bike is on display at Seabass Cycles in Peckham so pop in, have a coffee and check it out.
