The hugely popular G!ro Cycles in Esher, Surrey recently put on an endurance cycling themed weekend based around the epic Trans-continental race. Two racers from the event Matt Falconer and Kristoff Allegaert (3 time winner) shared their stories and experiences from the race and offered insights into the nature of ultra long distance cycling. Brands and G!ro partners - Apidura, Sportful and Curve (all available at G!ro) were in attendance to answer questions and provide product insights over the weekend. On the Sunday, a group of riders, along with Kristoff headed out for a ride around the lanes of Surrey. See the photo journal from the day below.
It's also worth noting that Kristoff also rode to Esher from his home in Kortrijk, Belgium - a 370km journey, and back again! How else would he travel to such an event.

The obligatory coffee stop was replaced with an stretch and ice cream stop in Shere.
