Bespoked Bags At Forever Pedalling, Bristol
On the same weekend as Bespoked in Bristol, local shop Forever Pedalling were displaying a range of bike bags. All made by local craftspeople, creating beautifully handmade bike specific bags and accessories in very different styles, one piece at a time. As part of our desire to support and promote local cycling related businesses we headed over to meet the makers and show you some of their work.
Forever Pedalling is a shop specialising in interesting cycling products and accessories, owned by local rider Tim Wilkey. If you're in Bristol be sure to pop in and have a look. We're hoping to head down to Bristol again soon to catch up with Tim and give you a closer look at the shop and the Bristol scene.
Sophie of Naff Sack's creates bags with a rugged, natural waxed finish, into-the-wilderness look about them. Sophie and partner Joe went on an epic bike-packing tour round Thailand to test the bags out, so you can be sure they're built to last.

"Purple Patch Workshop was born out of a desire to create long lasting products for people who like to explore the world.
Jacob and Josh combine their creative skill sets to design and make a range of bags and accessories inspired by cycling and adventure. All products are based around natural fabrics such as waxed cotton, canvas and leather. All finishing hardware is carefully selected for its functionality, longevity and quality using such materials as stainless steel and copper.
The underlying ethos is to keep the bags minimal, functional and highly robust, and to create products that get better with age.
"Everything is made in-house, in small batches, using traditional machinery and hand tools."
