We headed down to Brunel's magnificent engine shed in Bristol for one of the highlights in the calendar, Bespoked, the UK handbuilt bicycle show, to check out some stunning hand-built bikes from around the world.
There was far too much to see in just one day. Next year we'll be going for longer and will be bringing you more content from the show.
The variety that the show offers is spectacular, from custom made carbon bikes, hand-built wheels, to 3d printed steel lugs. As well as bespoke bikes, many custom parts brands attended the show, including USA based Chris King and White Industries to UK based Bear Components.
Each year the show reveals clear trends from within the scene, some obvious to all and some a lot more detailed for the expert eye. This year the most prominent trends were the huge number of bikes with incredibly intricate and detailed custom paintwork and the emergence of the versatile gravel/adventure bike, many of which were complete with some really nice custom bike-bags.
